    Alex Flinn grew up in Syosset, New York, and Miami, Florida.  She went to law school and she interned with the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s office, trying several domestic violence cases.  She volunteered and mentored at the Inn Transition facility for battered women and their children, this led to her to write Breathing Underwater, she has also written Breathing Point, Beastly, Clocked, A Kiss In Time, Fade to Black, Diva and Nothing to Loose.  She now lives in Miami with her husband, Eugene, and their two daughters, Katherine and Meredith.
